Sitting in another person’s home, all I could do was be gracious and thank them for the “wonderful meal” they had put before me. There was nothing I could do. I realized right off the bat, that not all families cooked the same, nor did they have the same taste. What could I do? Say no thank you, I don’t want anymore of this rat pee you call soup.
